Black Hat SEO refers to exact techniques and system in optimizing a web
site for search engines to understand them. Black hat is the direct
reverse of White hat SEO.
Black hat mainly refers to any or all
dishonest and deceptive means of driving traffic to your web site. These
are not illegal, but are meant to trick search engines into indexing
the site different than it actually is.

method is to make a landing page that a visitor will never notice, but
exists to attract search engines and tricking them into showing your

- Repeating keywords within the Meta tags, and using keywords that are not related to the sites content. This is known as Meta tag stuffing.
- Calculated placement of keywords inside a page to raise the keyword count up, selection, and density of the page. This is known as Keyword stuffing.
- Building low-quality web pages that contain extremely little content but are instead stuffed with very similar key words and phrases. These pages are known as Doorway or Gateway Pages.
- Mirror web sites by hosting several web sites all with conceptually same content but using different URLs.
- Creating a rascal copy of a popular web site that shows contents the same as the initial to a web crawler, but forwards web surfers to dissimilar or malicious web sites. This is known as Page hijacking.
Always be away to take on any of the above Black Hat policy to increase the rank of your site. Search engines are good enough to identify all the above proprieties of your site and finally you are not about to get something.
