  • Building low-quality web pages that contain extremely little content but are instead stuffed with very similar key words and phrases. These pages are known as Doorway or Gateway Pages.
  • Mirror web sites by hosting several web sites all with conceptually same content but using different URLs.
  • Creating a rascal copy of a popular web site that shows contents the same as the initial to a web crawler, but forwards web surfers to dissimilar or malicious web sites. This is known as Page hijacking.
